"Andy and Michael were the dream team! Anything we wanted, they were happy to do! From the food, to extra staff, to our awesome bartenders, they seamlessly managed the whole day! They were great about meeting in person and going through the whole day, our vision, taste testing etc. Wouldn't recommend anyone else!"

"I cannot say enough good things about Mike and Andy to explain how amazing my experience was with them at Freedoms Foundation. Out of all my vendors, they were the most prepared, competent, and approachable. I truly can say that they made my wedding the most memorable experience. Now to the food...THE FOOD!!!!! I had multiple guests say they were blown away by the food, which did not surprise me at all. One vegetarian guest told Andy this was the first wedding she had been to where the green beans had been seasoned. Of course, Andy and his crew seasoned them perfectly. As a bride, Mike ensured that I was always fed and had a glass in my hand (even when doing pictures). He remembered how both my husband and I liked our steak, which I didn't know he did! I was so busy talking to guests that he brought out our plates from the buffet stations with medium rare for my husband and medium well for me. It is a small thing like that, which puts these two over the top. My one piece of advice for brides looking at the venue: don't overlook it because it isn't your average ballroom or cocktail hour location. It is truly unique and special, which allows people to talk and converse about your unique choice! Let Andy and Mike help you plan your amazing day because you will NOT be disappointed!!!!!! If I could, I would give them 5000 stars, not just 5."

"Our wedding was on May 19, 2018. From the time we booked Michael and Andy until our wedding day, the whole process was 100% positive. I never felt stressed because they eased any concern of ours that came up. Michael responded to emails or phone calls within less than one day. They were fun, friendly, and truly love what they do. Their staff is phenomenal. I felt like they were part of our family. The venue was beautiful and was perfect for our 80 guests. The food-perfect. This is not your typical banquet food. They were flexible with payments as well. We will absolutely hire them again in the future and you should, too!"

"Our wedding at Freedoms Foundation with Valley Forge Catering Company was better than I even imagined! Mike and Andy are great to work with; they care so much about their food and the work they do and it shows. They give great advice and are happy to make your wedding into whatever you want it to be - whether it's recreating a recipe from a restaurant you ate one time or helping you stick to a minimalist budget, they'll do it for you with a smile and expertise. Everything went off without a hitch the day of our wedding. The food was amazing (as many of our guests commented), the service was great, and space was gorgeous. If I ever need to throw another big party, I know who to call - I certainly recommend working with Mike and Andy any day of the week. Thanks guys!"

"As soon as you meet Andy and Mike, you get the feeling that you are in good hands. These guys have catered hundreds of weddings, and leave nothing to chance. They make sure that every detail is covered, and they put your mind at ease.
The food that they cook up is incredible. Our guests were absolutely RAVING about the food. Creative apps and delicious mains, they incorporated all of our special requests and added unique flare. They really made our wedding such an incredible and unforgettable experience for us, and our guests.

"Andy & Michael were WONDERFUL! They treated us like a priority and old friends. They made an immense effort to make our event special and personal. They were accessible, attentive, knowledgeable, and flexible. They even won over all 4 sets of our parents (no easy feat!) Now to the food. It was DELICIOUS! They gave us detailed descriptions of their specialties and suggestions for the type of event we wanted and the best bang for our buck. We got rave compliments on the food months after our wedding. No rubber chicken for us! Even the pigs n' blankets were top notch. I will sing their praises always!"

"Valley Forge Catering is amazing! From the presentation to the taste, it was the most talked about at my wedding. Although the venue did not have air conditioning at the time, it didn't keep my guests from filling up with amazing food and hitting the dance floor all night! Andy and Mike are incredible and so accommodating. I especially loved how easy they were to work with and how they really make a menu designed around your likes and dislikes. It was NO WHERE NEAR "generic" wedding food."

Their staff on the day was also wonderful - tactfully zooming around with appetizers and drinks and cleaning up dishes and glasses stealthily during the dinner. "Where to begin with this review as there are so many good things to say about Michael, Andy and their incredible staff!!! From the very first telephone call to inquire about Valley Forge Catering Company's services to the day of our wedding on April 28, 2018, to chatting after our wedding just last week. The professionalism, attention to detail, the warmth, the laughs, the beautiful unique venue and the food! Oh the food! So delicious.
When I was researching caterer's to potentially have our reception at our new home, I came across Valley Forge Catering Company. After meeting with Michael and Andy at the Freedom's Foundation at Valley Forge, we just loved the venue and felt very welcomed and at ease with Michael and Andy. We looked at other venues/caterers and didn't get the same vibe. We are so happy with our choice, I can't even put into words.
Some members of my family have Celiac Disease, which means they HAVE to be gluten free. Other family members/guests are gluten intolerant or sensitive. When discussing the menu, we discussed gluten free items. At our tasting.... WOW.....they made almost the entire menu 100% gluten free!!! You would never know it! The sauces, the breading and dessert, so delicious! I say almost 100%... those pigs in a blanket were a must for an appetizer... it's not a party without them! Michael even had gluten free rolls at the reception along with regular rolls. It was so nice that we didn't have to worry about our guests. If they had allergies, you name it, they had it covered! In the planning process any questions, answered. Any concerns, put you at ease. Stressed... joke coming your way. Day of the Reception... flexible. Fantastic!
When we were at the venue setting dropping off place cards, etc. I had the opportunity to meet some of Michael and Andy's staff. Very impressed. That day and the day of our wedding, they couldn't do enough for us or our guests. So pleasant and non-obtrusive, many of our guests mentioned the staff by name.
The food... let just say this... the Mother of one of my Bridesmaids passed away shortly before our wedding... when I called her husband to say... do what you need to do (regarding funeral arrangements)... he said it'll be fine we are having a memorial later and we wouldn't miss your wedding. Then he said... besides I've had a taste of that food and I want more!
We are so pleased that Michael and Andy had an opening in their very busy schedule. My husband, Roy, and I had a short engagement, not to mention it was an extremely busy time for me work wise and we are so grateful to have been able to have Valley Forge Catering Company cater our reception at the Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge. I told Roy when we sat at our table, 'I feel like I'm in a dream'. Truly wonderful experience and we can't thank Andy, Michael and their entire staff enough! Highly recommended!"

"What a wonderful experience! Loved the size and layout of the rooms. The flow from one room to the next was perfect for each phase of our evening. The food was absolutely amazing. The presentation was beautiful, but the taste ~ fabulous! The perfect pairing of sauces complimenting each dish. There were layers of flavor in each bite. Would not change a thing. CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK. THANK YOU MARIE AND ANDY!!!"

They were the perfect wedding planners and most wonderful people to work with for my special day!
